Our kitchen staff is, and continues to be, trained by the owner , as he learned from his Mother and Grandmother. We pride ourselves on diversity, consistency, and fresh, quality ingredients.

Our Bar

We have one of the best-stocked bars in the entire region and serve a variety of national and international liqours as well as national beers in our bar. Our bartenders know how to mix a huge variety of drinks and if you want a certain mix drink that we do not have on our menu, tells us how and we'll give it our best shot! 
We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean, friendly, wholesome country atmosphere where all will feel welcome and content.  There is generally a mix of locals and  foreigners in our bar. This is (normally) not a rowdy bar where non locals will feel uncomfortable.  This is a place to come and rub elbows with both fellow travellers and locals.

Private Events

If you are planning a party or event, we offer a variety of options for you to use our facilities. We can cater the event, hire the music, bake the cakes and order anything special that you may want. So, contact us and we will work with you to take the hassle out of your event so that you can enjoy the party as well!

Our Location

1. Go toward San Jose.
2. Take the first exit to the left and go past the Hampton Inn and Denny's, (on your right)  follow the road until you cannot go further. There is a McDonalds on the left and a Shell Station (Bomba Tropicana) on the right.
3. Turn Right and immediately left by the Taco Bell. Follow that road four blocks until you come to a main boulevard going left, you will see our red and green striped awning on the left. 
4. Park anywhere on the street in front or on the side. 

Getting Here by Taxi

1. Just tell the taxi driver "Restaurante Cuginis or Bar Timiteo frente la Cine Viejo". It will cost you less than a dollar from anywhere downtown.

Getting Here Walking

1. Find the Central Park (the one with the big church).
2. On the East side of the church, (toward the airport) walk North, against the direction of traffic for 2 blocks and you will see our red and green awning on the right on the corner.
